# Megasol Technologies — Corniche

> Corniche is a flexible core banking platform, engineered in Sweden for modern banks and fintechs. Run it as Software as a Service, in your own cloud, or on-premises — every capability is exposed through stable, versioned REST APIs.

Megasol Technologies AB is a Swedish company founded in 2000 and based in Uppsala. It builds and operates Corniche, a core banking platform used by 20+ banks and fintechs across 10+ countries. Corniche ships weekly and is developed in close collaboration with the institutions that run it.

## Platform
- Capabilities: current accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, consumer loans, sales finance, payments, cards, digital assets, and commodities
- Deployment: Software as a Service (hosted in secure data centres in Sweden and the Netherlands), your own cloud (Azure, AWS and others), or on-premises
- Security & compliance: encrypted communication, 2-factor authentication, role-based access, full audit trail, GDPR-aligned; SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audit-readiness on the roadmap
- API surface: REST endpoints for banking, loan applications, payments and reports
